Terms of Use

Lahit, formerly Original vs Remix (the iPhone and Android apps and lahit.app), is made by Walter Apps. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

What the service is

It finds a song's original and its covers, live versions and remixes, and plays 30-second previews of them. It's free, with no accounts and no ads. Full songs play only in Apple Music, Spotify or another music app, under that app's own terms and your own subscription.

The music belongs to its owners

Songs, previews, artwork and album notes come from Apple Music and belong to the artists, labels and other rights holders. Previews are streamed from Apple and are for listening in the app only: don't record, download or redistribute them.

Information may be wrong

Which recording is "the original", a version's kind (cover, live, remix), song stories and popularity are worked out automatically from MusicBrainz, Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer and AI (Google's Gemini). They can be wrong or incomplete. Stories marked as written by AI can contain mistakes. If you find one, tell us at support@walterapps.com.

Fair use of the service

• Don't send automated requests, scrape the service or try to get around its limits.
• Don't fake hearts or plays, for example with scripts or made-up install IDs.
• Don't try to break, overload or reverse engineer the server.

We may block installs or addresses that do these things.

Driving

In the car, use CarPlay, Android Auto or your voice, and only when it's safe. Keep your eyes on the road and follow the law where you drive.

No guarantees

The service is provided "as is". It may change, pause or stop at any time, and songs can disappear when Apple Music removes them. As far as the law allows, Walter Apps isn't liable for any loss that comes from using it or not being able to use it.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, this page changes with them, with a new date at the top. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms. Questions: support@walterapps.com.
